for just a few $$$$ more you could get an 85 with similar mileage, or a P85 with just over 30K miles... my boss got his 85 with about 30k miles on it for less than this, but it was a private sale and he was able to transfer the previous owner’s extended warranty coverage.

Nice. I'm actually surprised people don't keep these longer

For that money you could get a Panther, a tanning bed and captain crunch for life!

Compared to how MANY have been sold, the turnover rate is very low. I think people are either moving up to the longer range (85) or faster (P85/D) models, or realize that an electric car really doesn’t fit their needs even with a 300+ mile range... thats why you see ones with so little mileage... also, probably a lot of them just get driven around town... now that the supercharger network is better my boss takes his down to Boston and Albany and up to Montreal, all over New England really. I think he’s put about 15K on it in the almost 12 months he’s had it.

I think many are turning these over, in small numbers, to get the D versions or the ones with the new autopilot tech. My co-worker has a P85 and wants to upgrade and my other just got a P85D. I am waiting for those to come used in 2 years.

Since Musk was talking about battery swapping stations, I wonder how big of a change it would be to increase the battery size in a 60?
